Abstract : This study, social inclusive: a poverty reduction approach, using descriptive research method, examines the relationship between social exclusion, social inclusion and poverty. It is amongst the findings of this study that social exclusion is not just a major cause of poverty but a key factor in poverty severity. However, social inclusion as a means to ending poverty in Nigeria, car be achieved through creation of employment opportunities, access to education and skills acquisition as well as minimizing social exclusion.
