Abstract : land use/land cover change analysis is one of the key strategies for managing and tracking natural resources and monitoring as well as mapping the shift. The major contributor to such changes is urbanization. These types of changes are very prominent in metropolitan cities where the population load is high. The study area selected for the present study is Delhi, the National capital of India. This article compares the changes in land use and land cover from 2014 to 2023. To map the changes Landsat 8 data were used for 2014 and Landsat 9 was used for 2023.
