Abstract : The refugee crisis in the Middle East is one of the most pressing humanitarian issues of our time. With millions of people displaced from their homes and forced to flee conflict and persecution, the situation has far-reaching implications for sustainable development in the region. This study aims to explore the role of refugees in sustainable development in the Middle East and to identify the challenges and opportunities presented by the refugee crisis. Through a review of the existing literature, this study provides an overview of the impact of the refugee crisis on sustainable development in the Middle East, with a focus on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainability. The study concludes by discussing the potential of refugees to contribute to sustainable development in the region and the need for more comprehensive and inclusive approaches to addressing the refugee crisis in the context of sustainable development.
