Botany Letters is an international scientific journal, published by the French Botanical Society (Société botanique de France) in partnership with Taylor & Francis. Botany Letters replaces Acta Botanica Gallica, which was created in 1993, building on over a century of renowned publications by the Société botanique de France.
Botany Letters welcomes all manuscripts dealing with plants and plant science in a broad sense, especially interdisciplinary studies. The scope covers Embryophyta, algae and fungi or any taxa described in their interactions with photosynthetic organisms. All organisation levels are considered. Botany Letters aims at allowing fast dissemination of quality research, for a large audience of readers interested in plant sciences.
In order to support plant research and Botany Letters contribution to development of botany, the Société botanique de France distributes each year one or several research price(s) for a total of 5000 euros. These prices are awarded to the best paper(s) published in the previous year, and is aiming at supporting the future research of the corresponding author(s).
Articles on methodologies and tools, short communications, including from PhD thesis, and reviews are encouraged. Monographs on invasive species at European level will be particularly welcome as part of a new series launched in 2016. Please see further instructions here. Book reviews and opinions will also be considered.

Annals of Botany is an international plant science journal publishing novel and rigorous research in all areas of plant science. It is published monthly in both electronic and printed forms with at least two extra issues each year that focus on a particular theme in plant biology. The Journal is managed by the Annals of Botany Company, a not-for-profit educational charity established to promote plant science worldwide. The Journal publishes original research papers, invited and submitted review articles, ‘Research in Context’ expanding on original work, 'Botanical Briefings' as short overviews of important topics, and ‘Viewpoints’ giving opinions. All papers in each issue are summariz...
Aquatic Botany offers a platform for papers relevant to a broad international readership on fundamental and applied aspects of marine and freshwater macroscopic plants in a context of ecology or environmental biology. This includes molecular, biochemical and physiological aspects of macroscopic aquatic plants as well as the classification, structure, function, dynamics and ecological interactions in plant-dominated aquatic communities and ecosystems. It is an outlet for papers dealing with research on the consequences of disturbance and stressors (e.g. environmental fluctuations and climate change, pollution, grazing and pathogens), use and management of aquatic plants (plant production and decomposition, commercial harvest, ...

Current protocols in plant biology - Sound and reproducible laboratory methods are the foundation of scientific discovery. Yet nuances that are critical for an experiment's success are not captured in the primary literature but exist only as part of a lab's oral tradition. Current Protocols in Plant Biology provides reproducible step-by-step instructions for protocols relevant to plant research. Written by experts in the field and extensively edited to our exacting standards, the protocols include all of the information necessary to complete an experiment in the laboratory—introduction, materials lists with supplier information, detailed step-by-step procedures with helpful annotations, recipes for reagents and solutions,...
