Abstract : Every work of art is multilayered and it depend on the reader to take out the hidden message embedded beautifully in it. This paper represents a detailed study signifying the essence of karmic chain in every pursuit of human endeavor through the study of the life of mariner in context of the poem 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner'.
