Abstract : The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted a transition from campus-based to online higher education. This studyaims to examine the impact of online learning on the mental health of college students during a pandemic. Thisresearch analyses the literature and surveys students to learn more about how online learning affects theiremotional well-being regarding topics like social isolation, technical challenges, and academic stress. Collegestudents' mental health was significantly affected by their access to online courses during the epidemic, thefindings suggest. Public universities in Hyderabad, India, and Kota Bharu, Malaysia, provide the samples forthis study, which is conducted entirely online. Individual correlation testing procedures are used with SPSS28.0 to determine the variable relationship. Higher education institutions and policymakers can use this study'sfindings to better protect students' mental health as they complete online courses.
