Abstract : The Smart Highway is a forward-thinking transportation network that enhances safety, efficiency, and sustainability. It integrates cutting-edge technologies, prioritizing the use of renewable energy sources like solar panels and wind turbines. Solar panels are integrated into the road's surface, replacing traditional asphalt, while perpendicular wind turbines stand in the road divider. Together, these technologies generate energy from the sun and wind. The project aims to create a more eco-friendly and energy-efficient urban highway system. In addition to renewable energy generation, the Smart Highway incorporates intelligent features like adaptive street lighting that responds to ambient light levels and vehicle presence, automated irrigation systems for efficient landscaping, and emergency switches for rapid accident response. This initiative represents a significant step towards greener and smarter urban infrastructure, promoting sustainability and improving the overall quality of urban life.
